Bookings:
Bookings are only validated after confirmation of full payment.

We do not accept reservations for more than 30 nights.

Cancellation:
Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in (time displayed in confirmation email). If the reservation is made less than 14 days before check-in, cancellation is free of charge within 24 hours of booking, up to a maximum of 5 days before check-in.

After that, guests can cancel up to 5 days before check-in and receive a refund of the nightly rate and cleaning fee, but not the service fee.

Change of reservation:

Changes to the number of nights may be made subject to availability only.

Extraordinary situations related to the reservation:

If the reserved property is, for any reason, unavailable on the dates initially reserved or within the period of 30 consecutive days prior to the check-in date, Madeira in Your Heart will suggest a different property with similar conditions. If the relocation of guests is not accepted, a full refund of the initial amount agreed upon in the reservation will occur.

No-Show Policy:
If the guest does not show up on the day designated for arrival, without any type of information given in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be charged, without any refund or rescheduling.

Input and Output:
We take care of our guests and are truly looking forward to welcoming them! In this sense, our check-ins are in person, at a time previously scheduled with the guest. Check in time from 3pm to 6pm, subject to availability. An additional fee applies for arrivals after check-in time. All late arrival requests are subject to confirmation.

Check-out must take place by 11am.

Number of guests:

The maximum capacity of each property must be respected, except when accompanied by children up to 3 years of age. In this case, we would appreciate it if you could notify us, allowing appropriate action to be taken. The total number of guests to be verified must be equal to the total number of guests indicated and paid in the reservation made; in the event that the number of guests exceeds the number booked, and when it does not reach the maximum capacity of the property, an additional cost will be charged per guest/night.

When the number of guests on arrival exceeds the maximum capacity of the property, Madeira in Your Heart reserves the right to refuse entry to guests and may cancel the reservation, without any refund.

General obligations and responsibilities of guests:
Guests are responsible for their own behaviour and that of all persons accompanying them.

Most properties are located in residential buildings, so legal noise levels must be respected. Madeira in Your Heart reserves the right to take appropriate action if and when complaints are made on behalf of the resident community regarding guest misconduct. If necessary, necessary action will be taken and guests may be asked to leave without any refund.

Guests are responsible for costs associated with damage to property.

Smoking is not permitted on the property. Pets are not allowed. Parties/events are not allowed.

Minimum age to check in is 21

In the event that guests cause damage to the property, a deposit will be charged, which can range from €400-€2000, depending on each property.

General rights and obligations of the Madeira in Your Heart administration:

Madeira in Your Heart is responsible for information and photos posted on the website. However, when not properly communicated by the owners, it will not be responsible for lack of equipment or any restoration/aesthetic changes that may occur at any time.

Madeira in Your Heart works exclusively as an intermediary in the rental of non-permanent residential properties for short periods of time, under the terms of nº 3 of article 1095 of the Civil Code.
